Erin graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in 1993. She graduated cum laude from Creighton School of Law in 1996, and then served as a law clerk for the Chief Justice of the Nebraska Supreme Court.
After practicing in the private sector and serving as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the College of St. Mary in Omaha, Nebraska, she moved back to her hometown in 2005 to join her father at Baird. In 2007, Erin completed Baird's Investment Counsel Program at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, earning a Senior Investment Consultant Title. And in May, 2018, she earned the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® designation after completing an intensive training program to become skilled in analyzing and providing expertise related to financial issues in divorce.
Erin has previously served on the board at the Pregnancy Care Center, and was Chair of the Board for Wesley Willows and the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois.
Erin resides in both Rockford, IL and Summerville, SC with her husband, Scott. She is grateful to live close by their son, Benjamin, and their daughter, Quinn & son-in-law, Brad, also of Summerville. She enjoys traveling and serving in various capacities at Crossroads Church of Summerville and participating in her monthly mother-daughter book club.
